On the back, each blossom is meticulously handcrafted, petal by petal, while the front they are combined with others in bas-relief.

As a final tribute to Japanese culture, the back of the cape is marked by a large red circle, a nod to the rising sun, with the silhouette of Mount Fuji at its center.
